Founded in 2017 by Nidhi Kapur, Maiden Home offers handcrafted luxury for the modern home, pairing an intentional design process with the heritage techniques of North Carolina furniture artisans.
Each piece is designed in their Tribeca, New York studio and brought to life by American artisan partners, who specialize in woodworking, tailoring, and upholstery techniques passed down through generations. Sourcing from the finest textile mills, tanneries, and sustainably-managed forests, each material is hand-selected for its beauty, texture, and longevity. Shape, curvature, and their signature tailoring form a collection of modern yet timeless silhouettes.
The attention to detail is stunning, and I love how inviting the Kenmare Chair and Morro Table are. I went with these pieces because I loved the softness, visible wood grain and the colors of the materials felt like they’d mesh seamlessly with the space.
Handcrafted with solid ash wood, the Morro Table (in Driftwood) harmoniously nests together as a set or stands alone, adding an artful presence to any room.
I’m inspired by pastel colors and gentle textures— these pieces really bring the room together. Favorite items to keep on my desk include my lamp from Gantri, notebooks from Midori, my Bubble clock, and my Rachel Saunders phone home.
Designed with an organic ebb and flow, The Kenmare’s playful contours (in Performance Textured Tweed Snow) display artisanal craftsmanship in a petite silhouette. The handcarved solid ash frame lends a mixed material appeal to its contemporary design.
