Where to vintage shop in Portland.

My favorite kind of shopping is curated vintage and local maker. A mix of both throughout a store is truly the dream and lucky for us, Portland is filled with them—

01 — Urbanite: With all local vendors, this is a great for furniture, planters, clothing, rugs, collectibles, cards, candles, small gifts etc. It’s a huge warehouse and it’s nice to walk around in even if you aren’t planning on buying anything. I find a lot of gifts for friends here.

02 — Midnight Sunlight: I stumbled into this shop one day after seeing and loving the window displays. It’s filled with a bunch of interesting vintage furniture, dish wares, ceramics, art and clothes. I got a great ‘80s Ralph Lauren top there recently and would definitely purchase a credenza here if I was in the market.

03 — Johan: So beautiful and minimal. My dream selection of high-end clothing pieces along with vintage in perfect condition. Find smaller items like earrings and bags, too.

04 — In Real Life: I come by this shop the most frequently. The entire store is color-coordinated: an ideal shopping experience. Lots of curated seasonal pieces and a great selection of blazers, coats, tees and jeans.

05 — The yo store: I love everything in this shop. Vases, candles, hats, kids clothes and gifts, curated vintage with lots of jeans, local jewelry, bags, cards and ceramics.
