Classic silhouettes for 2025

This year's most coveted silhouettes read like a love letter to timeless denim design: the high-rise wide-leg and low-rise wide leg remain equally adored, while a perfectly proportioned straight cut offers that unbeatable blend of polish and ease suited for both errand-running and a date night out. Even the beloved barrel leg—full through the thigh and tapering to a considered crop—has found its place in the pantheon of new classics.

Reformation Cary Low Rise Slouch Jean, $168

Reformation’s Cary denim line has become my go-to style over the last few years: it’s the perfect Tall Girl Jean. I have the Colorado and Espresso colorways in the high rise style and recently ordered the darker, low rise pair pictured here. So excited about these!

Still Here Everyday Jean, $280

At the top of my denim wishlist sits the Everyday Jean by Still Here New York. I tried these on in SF a few months ago and they were so flattering and comfortable!

FRAME The Lax in Alderton Raw Fray, $288

For the laid-back LA girl in us all, this jean sits just above the hip and breaks into a slouchy, wide-leg flare. The spacious fit is defined by rigid denim for structure and a raw, frayed hem for an authentic vintage feel.

Apiece Apart Skate Jean, $375

These jeans are made of 100% cotton—this rigid fabric is fitted at the waist with curved outseams and wide baggy leg, making for a perfect cross between a barrel leg and a classic high-rise, wide-leg jean.

James Street Track Denim, $290 ($174 on sale as of feb 2025)

These mid-rise baggy jeans by James Street are made of 100% cotton, meant to emulate a timeless, vintage denim silhouette. I love the track stripe for an unexpected bit of visual interest and might have to add these to cart while they’re on sale…

LA Ligne Mol High-Rise Straight Jean, $195

This classic high-rise, straight-leg style gets better after each wear. Made of 100% organic cotton, these will wear in like your favorite pair of vintage jeans. Love a slightly shorter jean for the warmer months ahead—pairs perfectly with a square-toe kitten heel or sandal for spring weather.

AGOLDE LOW CURVE WIDE LEG JEANS, $238

Made of 100% cotton, this sleek, low curved out seam gently tapers down to the ankle for a subtle yet sophisticated look.

Val 90s Mid Rise Straight Jean, $168

Designed to fit like your favorite pair of vintage jeans with zero stretch, the Val jeans come in eight colors and can be easily dressed up or down.

DOEN Diana Crop Jean, $228

Crafted from organic cotton, the Diana Crop features a high waist, classic straight leg that will stand the test of time.

Abercrombie High Rise 90s Relaxed Jean, $90

This jean is made from Abercrombie’s vintage stretch fabric (99% cotton and 1% elastane) which features an authentic vintage look and contains slight built-in stretch for additional comfort. The cotton makeup here will allow for the jeans to wear in well and hold up long-term.

Everlane Mid-Way Jean, $128

This pair of jeans features a mid rise, wide leg silhouette with five pockets, a zipper closure, and they’re made of 98% organic cotton.

I hope you were able to find a style that you love. More soon! x
