Recommendations for a short trip
I could say one million different things about Paris, but I’ll leave you with just a few sentences. I fell in love pretty quickly: it was unbelievably charming and quaint and felt like wandering around in a movie. I loved every second of seeing the city for the first time by myself and I can't wait to go back one day.
I stayed at Hotel Monge and Hotel Fabric. They were both the most lovely spaces and I’d recommend them to anyone— they each had equally incredible views.

Holy Belly was one of my favorite spots for breakfast: excellent atmosphere, music, good drip coffee
Folks & Sparrows, Honor Café, Matamata, Merci, The Louvre, KB Caféshop, Coutume, Boot, Kitsuné, Fondation, The Canal, Aux Deux Amis , Central Paris, Belville, Strada Cafe on Rue Monge were my favorites for coffee
Montmartre: go when the weather is nice and wander the streets. Go to the top of the hill where the Sacre Coeur Basilica is: one of the best views in all of Paris
Areas to hang around: Republique and Le Marais. All the cool shopping and people watching was over there without feeling touristy, and the Picasso museum is in that area if you want to visit
Shakespeare & Co Bookstore is iconic for a reason, stop in for a book or a very cute tote bag
Whenever it’s nice out, buy a baguette, a bottle of wine, cheese, and fruit and sit out on the Seine river
Marie Antoinette's Cottage isn’t in Paris, but is worth a trip
I hope you get a chance to visit some of these locations and that you enjoy them as much as I did. :)
