A Hotel Not To Miss on the Oregon Coast
After I got back home to Portland from Hawaii last week, I made my way out to Cape Kiwanda, one of the most beautiful beaches on the Oregon coast, and stayed at Headlands Lodge for a couple of days.
The room was amazing: super open floor plan with a lovely shower and bathtub, a lantern speaker, a balcony that overlooked the sea stack, a solid pour-over machine and a sprawling concrete bathroom sink (a major perk of traveling is usually having a much bigger sink than I have at home, haha).
We had a delicious dinner (everything was locally sourced) that consisted of chowder, clams, salmon and rockfish at the hotel's restaurant. Afterwards, we took warm cookies and milk (and wine) to our room to enjoy on the patio.
This was such a refreshing place to stay. I highly recommend a visit here if you’re planning a trip to the Oregon Coast, which I really hope that you do!
