An all time favorite pasta recipe

This lemon cream bucatini is a very straightforward recipe: it’s hearty and refreshing all at once— perfect for a night when you’re tired and not sure what to make, and equally ideal for a dinner party with friends at home when you want to spend more time talking and less time cooking.

Ingredients:

  • 12 ounces fresh bucatini

  • Zest and juice of 2 small lemons or 1 large lemon

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

  • Flaky salt for serving

Directions:

  1. Bring a large pot of well-salted water to a boil. Add your noodles and stir. Cook for 3-5 minutes or until al dente.

  2. Just before your noodles are done, add the lemon zest, cream, salt and freshly ground black pepper to a small saucepan and stir until well-combined. Cook over medium heat for about 2 minutes or until the cream begins to boil.

  3. Turn the heat to low, and add your drained noodles and the lemon juice to the pan. Keep stirring around the pan until the liquid has been absorbed, 1 to 2 minutes. Season with flaky salt, freshly ground pepper and lemon zest. Enjoy!
