A sweet stay on the central coast
The last couple of days, we had the chance to stay at some very lovely hotels during our trip to the Central California Coast. We felt so lucky to have visited Glen Oaks Big Sur for our first few nights! If you happen to be planning a road trip and looking for things to do in SF, here are some of my favorites.
I think this photo speaks for itself— don’t sleep on a morning bath under the trees.
As far as sightseeing goes, some spots to check out in Big Sur include McWay Falls, Bixby Bridge and Pfieffer State Park. Each of these are uniquely beautiful and a real dream at both sunrise and sunset.
For lunch, we stopped into Glen Oaks’ restaurant, The Big Sur Roadhouse — we had a caesar salad and the shrimp louie.
We stayed in the Big Sur Cabin, and it was a treat: there was a living room, kitchenette and beautiful bathroom with a large walk-in shower.
