A Trip to Central Oregon

Hello! Hope you’re having a lovely Wednesday.
Last week, Nick and I had the chance to head down to central Oregon, which was long overdue, and spend the night in Sisters at FivePine Lodge. It was such a treat! Located on a campus filled with tons of cabins and tall pines, it’s about 30 minutes north of Bend.
I shot the majority of these photos on my new-to-me film camera that Nick got me as a wedding gift, and I’m so stoked on how they all turned out.
The drive there is so relaxing and beautiful.
This is the back yard view from our Serenity Cabin. We caught the golden hour light just as we arrived.
We cozied up in our sweaters and drank some wine out on the patio, shot around the grounds a bit more, then headed out for dinner. We went to Wild Rose Thai in Bend and it was delicious. We shared a few different plates and we’d definitely go back next time we’re in town.
Back at the cabin, there was a walk-in sauna/shower situation as well as a full bathtub for soaking, and a fireplace in between the two.
That’s the glow of the fireplace through the shower. 10/10 would recommend. We ended the night with face masks, snacks and a movie, then woke up to a cozy, quiet cabin.
We started the next morning with a breakfast basket delivery featuring mimosas, coffee and yogurt with berries, caught up on work and wandered through the tree-lined pathways before heading into Bend for the afternoon.
Out in Bend, we grabbed lunch at Jackson’s Corner, easily our favorite breakfast in Bend. We went for the breakfast sandwich specials. This is a solid spot to get a little work done and hang out for a while.
Overall, we loved our stay at this sweet cabin and can’t wait until the next time we head back to Sisters.
